Something from Nothing

3/13/2022 I intended to go to a strong man competition to support the guys at my gym but being that it was an hour away with snow coming down when I woke up, I decided to cancel. I really wanted to test out my new lens (50mm F1.0 on my fuji system) and I was really bummed out when I couldn’t. Around 1:30 I received a call from a buddy to play pool with the guys. I took this opportunity to play with the lens and billiards at the same time.

While we were there, we met an older gentlemen that kicked all of our asses. We talked, he sang, I shared my beer with him, and then he invited us to his restaurant. He came to the pool alone without any expectations and ended the night making new friends. Now that’s what I call making something out of nothing. Images below are with the Fuji 16mm F1.4
